Nambucca Valley Community

Who and what we are and what we aspire to be!

Thus far, we are a small group of committed Nambucca Valley residents collaborating to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels via local food. Please signup to the site and join the Group - Nambucca Valley Local Food Network in our group section to keep up to date with our progress.

Another goals is to create a network of Nambucca Valley residents seeking resilience and environmentally sustainable communities.

We support and encourage:
-Local food production for local consumption
-Revival of traditional skills and crafts
-Reduce, reuse, recycle
-Projects and events to nurture community spirit and connect people

The main aim of the site is to network people with common interests and passions, to provide a medium through which real world action can be organised and spawned.

First stop - check out the User Guide to get a feel for how the site is setup

This is just a note to say that I have just joined this site to show my support for David Hall's idea of a local currency. Also would like to generally give everyone in the local community a thumbs up for promoting sustainability and self sufficiency. Excellent.See More
